Hi all,

Facing a challenge here with adding of disks to our ASM existing data group on a 2 node RAC 10.2. We are using multipathing,  Although ASMLIB is installed I do not believe that is how the ASM repository was originally built; can we still use that utility to add disks?

I beleive ware missing a step or two.

The SAN space has been sucessfully allocated.

We have rebooted our servers

Disks show up in our /dev/mapper list (ls -l /dev/mapper/mpa*)

$ ls -l /dev/mapper/

Howdy, Stranger!
