Querying for the supplier using supplier number take 1.5 min. - Performance Issue

Dear All,

We are in Oracle Account Payable and Purchasing 12.1.3. When business users query for the a supplier using supplier name only take few seconds but using supplier number take 1.5+ min.

Did anyone have performance issue in the supplier screen searching by supplier number in R12?  If so, please share your thoughts.
