Hi All,

11.2.0.3 RAC on Linux

Our RAC has two servers and the clusterware are starting the vip ip address on both servesr. Also

we see two address (10.41.253.199 and 10.41.253.198) that are started together.

Why clusterware layer are duplicating the vip ip address on both servers?

Why clusterware started the address 10.41.253.199 and 10.41.253.198 if it is NOT a part of vip scan address?

Can someone please suggest.

[oracle@svuxdrac7 scripts]$ oifcfg getif

[oracle@svuxdrac6 scripts]$ srvctl config scan

SCAN VIP name: scan1, IP: /vipscancrsh002/10.41.253.222
