Fully retired Asset transfer

Hi,

User has transferred around 2000 assets from one entity to another. These assets had a depreciation of 20% and as they were more than 5 yrs old, they were fully depreciated in the original entity. Now, after the transfer was done to the new enity for these fully retired asset, depreciation amount seem to have not been transferred.

Now, in the new entity cost is showing up for these assets but Accumulated depreciation and YTD amount is zero. How can we get the Accumulated depreciation and YTD amount be transfered to the new entity. I guess we can go to each Asset and make the salvage value to zero in the new entity, but how can we have it resolve for all 2000 assets at one go. And can you please let me know (any doc link), what the process of transferring fully depreciated asset from one entity to another.
