Manual Numbering of PO's

We have a an OU which is setup for automatic numbering of PO's. We want to integerate a new business in same OU and for that we want to import the PO's from the other system. Is it possible to have both the Manual number and automatic numbering in same OU and any other workarounds that any one can suggest.
