API for Tax Upload Interface Process

There is a policy in the IT organization to not place data into any table, interface or not, into production. So, is there an API which will place the data into the Interface table and then allow the Upload Tax Book Interface Process to run? We need to make changes to cost and accumulated reserve after GAAP assets are copied to the Tax Books. Thanks you for your help.
