Super back Flush - Item location record not found

Environment 9.1

Task - Complete a super back flush, proceed to Lot/Location Tab and enter location (free form) and Lot/ Serial status = 'T" ( Hold for testing)

In Save and close, soft error correctly shows 'Item Location record not found",

However,

When pressing save and close  again to supposedly go past the soft error, the screen cancels the Lot/Serial status entry 'T' and two soft errors appear..'.Item Location record not found' and I have to re-enter the Lot/Serial status entry again , then press save and close  for the transaction to successfully conclude with the Lot / serial status correctly stamped.
