Standalone Hyperion / EPM Installation with SQL Server

Hi,

I am trying to build a Hyperion test machine on a standalone single machine.

I followed the step to setup the loopback adapter etc. to get the Hyperion installed successfully.

However, when I tried to configure EPM, it gave me an error, stated "The requested instance is either invalid or not running".

I checked the SQL Server instance, everything looks fine. Can someone shed some lights for me? thanks

Server configuration -

Windows7 Home Premium

MS SQL Server 2008 R2

Hyperion 11.1.2.3
