We have Exadata with two nodes!

Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.8

Configured DNS server, SCAN-host and started three scan-listeners (SCAN IP Addresses : 10.16.77.97 10.16.77.98 10.16.77.99), initialized ASM.

RAC configuration has two Nodes:

Client Network VIP Network

  1. 10.16.77.105      10.16.77.101
  2. 10.16.77.104      10.16.77.100

Three databases db1, db2, db3 maintained in the following instances:

    three instances running on NOD1:  (services db1, db2,  db3)

   three instances running on NOD2:  (services db1, db2,  db3)

Scan-connection has been successfully working for all three databases from "foreign" subnet (for example, IP : 10.7.222.48 Subnet Mask : 255.255.254.0)

But in the subnet 10.16.*.*  scan-connection works only for db1. For db2 and db3
