Quantity cannot be greater than original ordered quantity

Hi,

We Migrated from 11i to R12.

Sales order was created, closed and invoiced in R11.

User is making a RMA against this order in R12.

While Booking the order getting an error message -  Quantity Cannot be greater than original ordered quantity.

User cannot book the Order.

RMA quantity is as per the Sales Order Quantity.

I checked the original Sales order. there is any other RMA referring the original order other than the one User created.

What could be the Reason?
