Oracle Software Stack Version

We will be going through the upgrade process of our RAC environment and I would like suggestions/recommendations on the versions of various products in the stack.  Depending on our applications and the highest version of Oracle that is supported, that would be the max version that we would upgrade to, ie. 11.2.0.4.  Most likely I would stay consistent in installing 11.2.0.4 versions of Clusterware, DB, etc..  I wonder though, would it be any benefit to install, say, 12c clusterware and 11.2.0.4 RDBMS software?  What version of Grid Control should be installed to support the cluster and rdbms?

Currently we are on Clusterware/ASM/RDBMS - 11.1.0.7.0, and use Grid Control - (OMS-10.2.0.5/emagent-10.2.0.4)
