Unable to fetch the latest active payment on receipt source

I have defined multiple payment methods underneath a receipt class. Only one of it is active. While using the receipt class on the receipt source definition, it does NOT fetch the latest active payment method associated with class. It keeps the old one.

Any idea why it is behaving like this?
