weblogic 10.3.3 and jumbo frame

in Oracle Weblogic Server (MOSC)

We are running weblogic 10.3.3 32bit on jdk 1.6 on Solaris sparc 10. Solaris sparc 10 is running in OVM as LDOM. Normally we have MTU configured to 1500. However because of the global change all LDOMs running on OVM will need to use jumbo frame. Jumbo frame is using MTU 9000.

Would you know if that change could cause performance problems? Base on my understanding it could cause lentency due to large payloads. Would you have any more information when using jubmo frame with weblogic?

Please let me know in case more info is needed
