Adding additional location for utl_file_dir

We are using ebs version 12.1.3

I am not sure if this is the correct forum to post; but we are have a particular PO that needs the file to be outbound at the location of utl_file_dir. If I want to add a new location for utl_file_dir, is it possible to achieve this? Do I just modify the database init.ora file to include the new location? Or, is there any alter command I can use in sqlplus to add this? After modify init.ora, do I need to run autoconfig to help keep the change permanent? Gurus, please advise. Thank you very much.
