What do I need to do to make Hyperion Ver 11.1.2.1 compatible with Win 8 and IE 10?

I've been asked to find out what we need to do in order to upgrade our current Version of 11.1.2.1.102 to be compatible with Win 8 and IE10. I've been searching the knowledge base for some time but I'm not finding an answer.  It looks like we need to get to version 11.1.2.3.500 but this patch (17529887) can only be applied to 11.1.2.3 and it's only for EPMS but not Essbase, for that I need to go to Doc 1396084.1  which I'm not finding very helpful.  Can anyone tell me what the steps we need to do in order go in order to get this done?
