Depreciation on Asset Addition with Existing Asset

Hi

We are using the Oracle Apps version 12.1.1 and following setup has been created in system for fixed assets

Depreciation Calender : FA-Monthly

Fiscal Year Name : FA Fiscal Year

Prorate Calender : FA-Daily

Divide Deprteciation : By-Days

We create one asset through mass addition as below :

Asset Number : 109132

Asset Cost : Rs. 10000

Depreciation Method : WDV - 13.91%

Date in service : 10-Apr-2014

Prorate Conversion : Same Day

Prorate Date : 10-Apr-2014

The depreciation for the month of Apr-14 Rs. 80.03 for 21 days (Rs. 10000 * 13.91% * 21/365)

Thereafte we made addition to this asset No. 109132 for Rs. 2000 with Date in service 15-Apr-2014.

Depreciation on added asset should be Rs. 12.20 for 16 days (ie, from the Date in Service 15-Apr-2014) (Rs. 2000 * 13.91% *16/365)
