From where the "unlock the private key" message is coming from?

in Oracle Solaris System Administration (MOSC) Question

I've used Seahorse to create a SSH that has been installed on a remote host.

After logout/login, opening a gnome terminal and upon attempting to connect via SSH I get a desktop modal dialog in the attached screenshot.

  1. I would like to know the source of this dialog; is it from GNOME keyrings?
  2. How to configure the caching of this prompted password?
    (it seems that System | Preferences | Encryption and Keyrings doesn't have any influence on that).

That's a Solaris 11.1 SRU 19.6 X86 desktop.
