What if we uncheck the derive date option under Accounting Information while setting up the source.

Hi,

Oracle is recommending to Derive the date when Oracle Inventory is installed to account the revenue and Cost into one period.

But if we uncheck the derive date also the Auto invoice program takes the Default Date as GL Date and the same date is picked for COGS recognition also.

So I think there is no issue if we uncheck the derive date even if inventory module is installed.

Please share if any other issues may be faced if we uncheck the derive date.
