Golden Gate replicat process looks to be hung

Earlier my replicat processes were running fine. Recentlry I have upgraded my Golden Gate software to "ORACLE GOLDENGATE V11.2.1.0.23 FOR TERADATA" and I see that few of my replicat proccesses are hung. Only command here works is "info replicat name". Any other command will lead to an error message of "ERROR: sending message to REPLICAT XXXX(Timeout waiting for message)". I can see huge checkpoint lag of 9+ hours and i cant stop the processes. Only thing i can do is to kill the process and then again start it but it still shows huge checkpoint.

Please shed some light on this for the root cause and solution to this.
