Solaris 11.1 asr-notify bug (15813264) and workaround

in Oracle Auto Service Request (ASR) (MOSC)

Solaris 11 includes a fault management feature that detects specific fault events and sends them to Oracle's ASR (Auto Service Request) infrastructure as XML messages via http(s).
The ASR Manager also supports Solaris 11 fault events when configured as an "ASR Manager Relay" using the "asr enable_http_receiver" command.
ASR opens Oracle Service Requests for specific Solaris 11 fault events to expedite the service delivery process.

Solaris 11.1 has a bug which can prevent asr-notify from sending fault events to Oracle:
