Trying to implement compensation workbench with AME approvals and it goes through the entire supervi

Hi,

Version = 12.1.3

I'm attempting to implement compensation workbench with AME approvals. The idea is that the direct supervisor is the worksheet manager and then it routes to HR for approval. We do not want it to route through the entire supervisor approval chain up to the top level. I have selected supervisory approval with up to one supervisor at most, but it continues to route through the entire chain. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?
