Tax on freight at the order entry level when Freight is entered through modifier

Hi All,

We are defining freight as line charge using modifiers. However, we have turned on the profile to interface freight as revenue to AR so that it calculates tax. AR will take care of calculating tax rate based on the tax code & the location for the invoice.

The other requirement is to show this amount on the SO form before the order is booked. At this time, nothing is interfaced to AR; so no tax is calculated. So, we are planning to create a new modifier which will calculate tax on freight. To do this, we were looking for any APIs or functions available that can return the tax info when the tax code & location is passed as a parameter.
