War file deployment fails on Weblogic 12c

Hi

I'm trying to deploy Demantra on weblogic. After deploying the war file, when I start the deployment, it fails and the error which I see is:

"weblogic.management.DeploymentException: Deployment could not be created. Deployment creator is null"

Weblogic - 12.1.1

Demantra - 12.2.1

OS - Windows server 2008 x64

Any idea how to rectify it ?
