Ebtax Setup for automatic tax in GL manual journal entries

All,

Per Note ID 565310, the tax account should be set up in EBtax for automatic tax in GL manual journal entries.

Questions:

1) Should the Tax regime, tax rate etc.. be defined in Ebtax first?

2) Are the GL Setup < Tax > Tax Options derived from EBtax setup and used for GL manual entries only?

3) Where are the generated tax journal lines? in gl_je_lines  and/or in zx_lines table as well?

If there an existing document related to this matter?
