datafile created on primary not automatically created on standby

Hello,

I created a datafile in a tablespace on primary but when I check on standby it's not there.

On primary standby_file_management is auto and on standby it is manual.

Now I changed standby_file_management to auto on standby even then I don't see any new file in the tablespace
