How to best install 2 test databases (11g) on a standalone 64-bit x86 Solaris 11 server
I have been working with Oracle Database since version 7, but have not touched a LINUX or UNIX machine in years (last one was DEC Alpha circa 1995), so don't laugh too much I have a need to perform Infosec / SCAP compliancy scans on a system running two databases and I also need to scan a Solaris 11 default install to determine how secure and compliant it is out of the box.... So, can someone point me to the easies manner in which to install 2 test/small (tiny)/general databases on the single standalone Solaris 11 server ? I am running Oracle 11gr2 and have thus far installed the basic software, BUT did not create any database(s) as of yet. I was planning to use ./dbca to create each instance manually such
