Revocation certificate creation fails with gnupg or seahorse

I was trying to create a revocation certificate right after creating my keypair but it has failed with an ugly error message:

Assertion failed: data, file /builds/hudson/workspace/nightly-update/build/i386/components/gnupg/gnupg-2.0.17/g10/pkglue.c, line 41, function mpi_from_sexp

Abort

In fact, this happens right after entering the passphrase on GUI dialog box (that's why I was suspecting of Seahorse as well).

I still don't know if the passphrase prompt happens on the shell (contrary to the GUI dialog box above) because Seahorse is installed.

Anyway, I'd like to be able to understand the error message if that would help me solve the issue.
