Processing Inbound Transcript Information

We are just beginning our implementation of Campus Solutions.  Can anybody tell me the approach they are using to process inbound transcripts?  We are an Ohio school and will be getting transcripts from the Ohio Board of Regents ATC.  I've read a little about TS130, and others have mentioned File Parser and CTM.  Just looking for some information on best practices at this point.  What is possible, what is practical?
