Remove Encumbrance Cost budget from Budgetary control from Project module

Dear all

Due to business reasons we are planning to remove Encumbrance Cost budget ... .Please suggest how to remove Encumbrance Cost budget from Projects Module and are there any programs to to run after  unchecking box for Encumbrance Cost budget.

What will be the impact of this .. please suggest
