How to introduce new Field(with New Column) in Product Relationship level ?

Dear Experts,

Can some one provide the detailed steps to Implement New filed (with new column) at Product Relationship level ?  (In our project we dont have any classes where we have relationships in class level ..so there i dont want ...)

By Extending the related BC & Table Versioning will work for the new Field ?

Some one implemented Before these type of requriement ?
