ftruncate() failed: no space left on device

Please, any advice on what may be causing the error message on the subject line.

The message appears on the top left corner right after locking (X screensaver) the Solaris 11.1 desktop.

I've noticed the error message since SRU 19.6; now I'm on 20.5 but the message persists.

I believe that /var/adm/message doesn't have any clues.

I wonder which device that could be?
