MOT not defaulting from F4201 to F4211

I am using JDE OneWorld 9.0 update 2 with tools release 9.1.3.4.  I currently have a default value (from data dictionary) being populated to MOT (Mode of Transport).  If I change the value in the sales header using P4210, the value is not defaulting down to the sales detail lines, dispite having the field defined to default from F4201 to F4211.  Is there a know bug for oneworld?  I found something on the oracle site but it refered to World Software.
