Navigation not working correctly from Combined Analysis/Pivot

I am trying to navigate to a detail report from a summary report in a dashboard. I defined a Value Interaction in a field in my results column on my combined analysis/pivot. When I hit the hyperlink, the detail report includes Accounts for all the values, not just the value I selected. If I select the value in my prompt first, it works correctly. How do I pass the value the users selects to my detail report?

I saw a discussion from 2012 that said Navigation doesn't always work from a combined analysis/pivot.  Does anyone know if this his been fixed, or can anyone suggest an alternate strategy?
