Customer Data Merging without CDH integration

Hi,

Can I check if anyone knows if Customer Data Merging can be performed within the CRM9.2 application itself without the need to integrate with CDH?

Eg. if there are now 2 existing customer records in CRM which we know are duplicates, how does one initiate a merge so that the case/events/sales order transactions will be updated to the "surviving" customer record?

The following articles talks about the various functions available however, it seems to be dependent on CDH integration.

Can we trigger the merge application process within CRM itself?
