Rebuilding indexes

Hello all,

My Application often raise serious performance issue while doing a big monthly process, system is hanging.   Every time we have to rebuild all indexes and analyze whole schema, then problem resolved, but it takes much time to do and we don't think it is best solution.

How do we know which indexes are candidate for rebuilding to improve performance?  Can we select them by some correct way?
