Can a Expense component item's cost be rolled up to parent item?

Hello friends,

Does anyone know whether expense item's cost be rolled to its parent item cost? client requires to include expense item in BOM.

client's expense item is enabled with inventory item flags, costing enabled and include in cost roll up flag enabled. Asset item flag is not enabled. So when I complete a work order with one discrete job, then MAKE item's cost doesn't include expense item's cost in it.

does any one know how to include expense item's cost in MAKE item's cost?
