How to enable clustering after resource pool has been created

edited Oct 14, 2014 10:01AM in Oracle VM (OVM) (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

I have environment on OracleVM 3.2.8 with VMs running off local storage of single server “Oraclevm1”. Cluster wasn't enabled at the time of "Server Pool" oraclepool1 creation.

I need to enable clustering on OraclePool1 on Oraclevm1, and add second server oraclevm2 and shared SAN LUNs. Once done, I need to move VMs from “Local Storage” to shared SAN LUN on server pool. I was able to add second server to first "Server Pool".

- Tried to add SAN LUN as shared repository, got error below:

ovmru_002030E cannot create ocfs2 file system with local file server. Local FS  its server is not in a cluster.

Howdy, Stranger!
