eAM Up gradation Setups

Hi All,

My Client is using 11.5.10 and upgrading to 12.2.3. In 11.5.10 eAM is not present and no assets are defined. After Up gradation we are planning to plugin these modules.

My Question is can we do install base setup in 11.5.10 or we can do it after up gradation, as there are no assets in the system.
