Script to create Receipt Batch

Hi, I am using the ar_receipt_api_pub.create_cash API to create receipts but I really need to create a receipt batch as well.  Oracle Doc ID #1538781.1 says "There is no API to create receipt batches.".  Is there a script I can use?  And if I am able to create a receipt batch, which parameter would I use in the create_cash API?
