FCM - correction of tasks with status "completed"

Hi, it may happen that we have to re-do tasks that have already been "completed", eg re-open AR because of significant error detected. What is the recommendation of showing this in the tool? I can see that it is not possible to force to "open" tasks that have already the status "completed". What work-around makes sense so that the successor tasks see clearly the impact??
