Necessity of using MSP and reschaduling

hi

by reading projects documents i understand that rescheduling in oracle projects is not powerful tool for scheduling and rescheduling projects and i think each company want to implement oracle projects should use MSP for some purposes like scheduling and some thing else . please help me to know am I think correct or not ?
