Patching to External Web Tier

Hello Support,

We have two application tiers. One is internal Tier that has the concurrent processing node, forms node and reports.

The second applications tier is only used for isupplier and other imodules and it does not have forms node, reports node or concurrent processing nodes.

When we apply the patches to internal apps tier the apps is down on internal tier. and when we apply patches to external tier the apps is also down on external tier.

As per our understand the patches can be applied to external tier independently and it does not nee the internal application tier to be down.
