MANAGER_FLAG is NULL

Hi,

The MANAGER_FLAG in the per_all_assignments_f table is null for all employees. I'm just wondering what is the purpose of this field?

According to the HR TRM document, the MANAER_FLAG is to 'indicates whether the employee in this assignment is designated a manager.' However, if I query an employee in the Employee Assignment form the Supervisor field is populated.

Now, we do not have Oracle HRMS installed - is this field only used for HR purposes? We do use the employee HR for PO approvals etc.
