Hi,

I have a Solaris 10 brand zone running on a Solaris 11.1.6.4.0 system.

The Solaris 10 brand zone was created from a Solaris 10 update 9 (native) zone ( running on a Solaris 10 update 9 system) .

It has been running fine for more than a year.

Now, I'm trying to install a program that was compiled on a Solaris 10 update11 (zone) and I get this error:

ld.so.1: pkgin: fatal: libc.so.1: version `SUNW_1.22.7' not found (required by file /opt/pkg-2014Q1/bin/pkgin)

pvs shows that the system is lacking SUNW_1.22.7 which is available on libc.so on my Solaris 10 update 11 systems.

[root@sol10u9:/] pvs /usr/lib/libc.so.1

Howdy, Stranger!
