MOS Search&Browse - how to see most recent Knowledge Articles

A recent thread on info-ims@sonnection.nl brought up the an issue with MOS Search & Browse.

If you:

  • go into MOS (support.oracle.com)
  • click the Knowledge tab
  • click the Search & Browse subtab
  • enter Oracle Communications Messaging Server for the product/product line
  • don't enter any more search terms, just click Search

With no search criteria other than the product name, you might expect to see newest or most recently updated articles first. If so, you will be disappointed. The search engine is trying show "most relevant", which works poorly with vague criteria.

For Knowledge Articles, there is a better way to see "recent" articles
