Jar File Signing - Certificate chain not found for: <ALIAS> must reference a valid KeyStore key entr

I followed note Enhanced Jar Signing for Oracle E-Business Suite (Doc ID 1591073.1) to sign jar files in E-Business 12.1.3

java version "1.7.0_55"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_55-b13)

Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 24.55-b03, mixed mode)

Created signing request

Sent it to In House Certificate support person

Received Root, Intermediate and Code Signing certificates back

Saved files as outlined in note

Imported root cert with alias to cacerts

Imported intermediate cert to adkeystore.dat

Imported code signing cert to adkeystore.dat

Validated adsign.txt has alias COMPANY

Failing to generate jar files

ERROR: JarSigner subcommand exited with status 1
