What are the possible Implication of Internet Security Using iProcurement , Sourcing and iSupplier P

Hello All,

Hope you are doing well.
We are doing the Implementation in the bank and as you know a bank cares alot for there internet security protocols.
The IT Security staff ask me why we are giving the application acess to the suppliers ?? That is necessary in case of  iSupplier Portal and Sourcing ??

Can you please hlep me what to reply to him ? Also any Oracle documentation that shows there wont be any security implict in case of giving the acess to the suppliers ?
