Create Accounting rule and automate journal entry
Scenario
A service company does not want Inventory to appear in its balance sheet.
So it will expense all its Inventory Items when received.
However they still want to be able to track the inventory items.
The journal entries which will be created DR Inventory and CR Liability.
To eliminate the Inventory GL Balance I want to create a rule and automate the process so that each time an Inventory Item is purchased and sent to GL
the Inventory a/c is automatically Credited and an Expense A/c debited
Is this possible. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
