Update Shells for cost sheet

Has anyone else had problems with updating shells in Unifier? I go to the template, make changes to the columns and then hit update shells and select all shells. When I go to the project connected to the template nothing changes. I check the history of the update shells and it shows it finished. Am I missing something. Any help would be appreciated.
