Will Siebel 8.1.1.11 work using all VMs with ESX hosts?

We're in the process of upgrading from Siebel 8.1.1.10 to 8.1.1.11.  During this upgrade we're planning to upgrade our hardware to 64-bit with Windows 2012.  Additionally, we're planning to run on all VM servers residing on ESX hosts.  We're planning VMs for all of our servers including our application, web, gateway, and database servers. 

Can anyone answer the following questions:

  • Has anyone else done this (using VMs for all servers include the database server)?
  • Does anyone know of any issues with this approach?
  • Any suggestions or warning?
